WIFI vs HARD WIRED NETWORKS
Just because it is a WiFI device does not mean that is the best way for connectivity. Anything that can be hardwired to a router or network switch should be. WiFi networks can only handle a certain amount of "bandwidth" (Data Packets). Connecting every smart TV (streaming Hulu, Amazon or Netflix) and every PlayStation game console to WiFi will drain the network and result in a very unhappy family. You can think of your network like a garden hose and each device is a faucet of running water, eventually you will lose pressure (signal strength). Do you need connectivity for your outdoor TV installation, Sonos outdoor speaker system or your laptop to get some work done outdoors? Extreme AVS of Long Island has you covered with outdoor WiFi. We can extend your network anywhere in your yard, even down to your boat dock. How large of an area are you looking to cover? You can choose either a directional or omni-directional outdoor wifi antennas, depending on your applications. You will also need to run a cable from your indoor network to your outdoor wifi antenna. We also set up expert security protocols for your outdoor wifi system as well.
